Hotel Villa Las Anclas

For my first dive trip to Cozumel, I'm so glad I picked this place instead of a big chain or resort. I'll gladly book here the next time I come to dive. The units are spacious and spread over two levels, with lots of natural light. Behind a locked security gate there's a beautifully planted garden, a nice pool, and a little private terrace where I had breakfast each day. There's also a dedicated area to wash and dry dive gear, which is really handy. The location feels quieter and more local, while still being an easy walk to the ferry terminal, waterfront, and main tourist area. It's also just a stone's throw from several dive shops. Rosy, Joshua, and the other staff I met were all very friendly. They communicated clearly and promptly on WhatsApp and gave me good local restaurant suggestions. I accidentally left some dive gear in the room after checkout, but they grabbed it for me quickly when I messaged. Thank you! One thing to plan for: if your dive trip starts early, there aren't many nearby breakfast options open before 8am. I'd pick something up the night before or get groceries at Soriana Híper, the big Walmart-type store about a 10-minute walk along the waterfront. Thanks for a wonderful stay. The staff were warm and welcoming, and helpful and knowledgeable too. I had a toilet issue and a loud noise that went on all night my first night, but they fixed it quickly and apologized. The hotel was quiet, and the cute pool was usually empty or had just one or two people in it. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's also very close to restaurants, bars, and shops. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our short stay at Hotel Villa Las Anclas. The location made it easy to walk to ATMs, restaurants, bars, convenience stores, scooter rentals, and shops. There's even Casa Cuzamil, which shows US sports like football during NFL season. Staff communication was great before and during our visit. The room was clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette that was just right for two, and they supplied a big jug of fresh drinking water. Wifi worked well, the AC was spectacular, and both shower temperature and pressure were nice. We also appreciated the safe for valuables and the small pool for afternoon dips. The property gate made us feel secure, and fingerprint locks on the doors meant we didn't need to carry keys. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable place to explore Cozumel.

We'd stay here again when we return. The hotel was clean, secure, and accommodating, with great service and a very kind host. The AC was wonderful. They serve coffee at 7 in the morning, and there's also a coffee maker in the room. Bring your own coffee, since it isn't supplied, but then you can have the kind you like. The host let us relax in the lobby until we were ready to leave and store our bags while we headed out on our own adventures. In my opinion, you can walk to everything from here.
