The staff were friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our week. We chose the larger king room and were glad we did: it was beautiful, with a comfortable bed, lots of pillows, and a coffee maker with coffee. Walking to the pueblo takes a little effort, though it's a pleasant walk. I did have to ask for a hair dryer and hand towel. At this price, those should already be in the room.

The breakfast was excellent, and the jacuzzi was a comfortable temperature. It’s a peaceful, beautiful place with very attentive staff. Our room was spotless, the water pressure was good, and the bed was really comfortable. Just check that the hot water has been switched on for your room. It’s on the pricey side, but worth it for a luxury getaway.

The building is amazing, and the man who welcomed us was great. He helped make a rough stay more bearable. We came for Valentine’s Day, but the power went out overnight while the worker had gone to start the electric plant. Our room’s fireplace pilot was off, so we slept cold, and without the WiFi password we had no service to tell him the electricity was out. The next morning, the restaurant was closed for the day, which I wish we’d known since the website promotes it. We had also planned to go to el general steak house on the 14th, but it was closed too. We felt we’d wasted our money because we couldn’t use the hotel amenities and the restaurants were shut.

It’s a quiet place with grand rooms, and the people are very nice. Staying here feels a bit like being in a hidden castle. Really great place.
