El Domo’s kitchen had everything we needed to store food and make meals, and we could eat at the small table, on our porch, or up on the big rooftop terrace. Sleeping beneath the beautifully made dome felt romantic. We stayed for two weeks in this cozy, comfortable apartment for two, on the second floor with views over the Queretaro rooftops. Quinta Zoe is right in the Centro Historico, close to what you need and the many public parks. The grounds, David and Zoe, and the apartment were all lovely. It was immaculate and had the basics and more. Zoe made fresh homemade granola every week, and the discreet weekly cleaning included restocking essentials like coffee. Having access to the washer and dryer each week was a big help. The building and renovations are recent, but the place feels like stepping back in time. It was great to have modern amenities too, including WiFi, TV, DVD, and Netflix after long days walking around the Centro Historico. Zoe’s resource book was excellent, with local history, useful maps, tips, and advice on what to do and avoid in Queretaro. Our hosts were available whenever we needed something while still giving us plenty of privacy. We also got to see the other two lovely apartments on the ground floor. They’re larger, with fully equipped kitchens and full-size appliances, and suit longer visits or families. Quinta Zoe and our hosts David and Zoe get five stars from us for this affordable apartment in a very convenient Centro Historico location. We’d happily stay again and recommend it to others. Room tip: Choose El Domo for a romantic stay, or one of the other apartments for a longer visit.

I loved every minute in the Domo room. It’s a peaceful, beautiful experience, and I highly recommend it. You’re right in the middle of the city and can walk anywhere, but it’s still quiet enough to sleep peacefully.

The owners are very nice people, and the rooms are comfortable and fully equipped. It’s a very nice place to stay. I had some of my best nights of sleep there.

A great place for business travelers.
