It was quiet during my weekday stay, and there was a comfortable lounge chair in the common area, though that space could use more seating or amenities. I was in a dorm with comfortable beds and large lockers. The place is new and clean, but the main drawback is that there aren’t many bathrooms, even though they’re clean and new. It seems like a good choice for a group.

At 250 pesos for a bed in a mixed dorm, it’s a great deal. There are two comfortable places to hang out, plus a kitchen and a restaurant at the back. The rooms and shared spaces feel clean and modern, and the wifi is fast and strong. Zona Centro is within walking distance. There’s secure parking for most vehicles, though the biggest rigs may not fit, and English-speaking staff. The number of guests staying here says a lot.

I’ve stayed here before, and this time I was here for five nights. It’s a nice place in a handy spot, about a 10-minute walk from downtown. Prices are accessible: 250 MXP for a shared room with a private shower and toilet, or 700 MXP for a private room. They take credit cards. The facilities are generally clean, with fresh towels, a personal locker, body shampoo, a fan, and a little lamp and electric outlet at each bed. There’s no AC. The parking and restaurant are useful, and the common areas are good for resting. Oxxo and a public transportation stop are very close, just one block away. The front desk staff are kind and attentive, and they contact you through Whatsapp to confirm your reservation. A few issues: the microwave oven wasn’t working, I’d read there might be continental breakfast with coffee and toast, but didn’t see anything about it, and the train wakes you up very early.

The bed was very comfortable, with great sheets, and the lockers and other facilities were excellent. I felt secure, and the location was convenient. The dorm room itself was a bit hot and needed more outside air. There are only two bathrooms, with the shower and toilet together, so I can see that causing problems when it’s really busy. Even so, with the little time I had to look around, this seemed like a very good option compared with the others I found.
