Amor Boutique Hotel

I was here for my daughter's wedding, and it was a great hotel for the occasion. Check-in was quick and easy. Maythe at the front desk was so helpful. I hadn't realized that getting to my first room meant climbing a very steep hill, and as an older guy I thought I might die, LOL. Maythe carried my bags up and saw I was struggling. She then went back to reception and found me a room that was much easier to reach. Without her, I'd have been stuck in the original room for the whole trip. The new room was awesome. I'd highly recommend the hotel, especially Maythe, who made my trip better than I imagined. She's also very cute 🥰

It's close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough away to give you quiet and privacy. The views from the rooms and pool are unreal, and this is the kind of place where you can slow down and relax. The rooms are clean, modern, and really comfortable, with a laid-back boutique feel. The staff are helpful and friendly without hovering. A perfect spot for disconnecting and enjoying the view.

We stayed in Mi Primer Beso from 4/28-5/2 and had no AC for the entire visit. The maintenance man checked it on the first day, but it was never fixed. We kept asking at the front desk about its status and got nowhere. It was miserably hot and extremely noisy. EDM played on the beach until 2 am, and the customer service was terrible. The pool was filthy, with a visible film on the water. The hotel has a great view, but a public road runs alongside it, and you can hear locals and partygoers throughout the night. We emailed the manager, as the front desk suggested, and still haven't heard back. They know this place is terrible. Don't stay here!

We got one of the smaller villas beside the pool. The shower had no raised edge, so water spread across the bathroom, and bark shavings kept falling from the ceiling. The bed wasn't very comfortable. Still, the service and staff were great, the views were beautiful, and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the pool and had a great couples massage. We also saw some of the larger villas, and they looked spectacular.
