The pool is a real highlight, and the bed was comfortable, with good AC and great shower pressure. Once you’re through the gate, it’s easy to relax. This isn’t a hotel with lots of amenities, but the basics are covered. It’s an easy walk to downtown along pleasant streets, though they’re dark. The place is on Oasis, and I’ll definitely come back on my next trip.

The people running the place were warm and kind, and the bed was comfortable. We stayed with our one-year-old babies in a cute, cozy little villa, and the pleasant smell throughout added to the atmosphere. The location near the edge of town was fine for us, though it meant a bit of a walk to the center. The room itself didn’t match the listing photos very well. I understand ordinary wear, but the difference seemed quite noticeable, as if the pictures had been heavily edited, and we were disappointed given what we paid. The kitchen lacked a knife and cutting board, perhaps for safety, though you can ask the front desk for them. It did have utensils that weren’t much use and were dusty. There was no dining table or chairs, just chairs in the hallway outside the room. One bedroom light didn’t work, and although we told staff, it wasn’t fixed during our stay. The floors could have been cleaned better too. The backyard has potential, but it’s being used somewhat like a storage area right now. It would be nice to see it maintained better, especially when guests are paying to stay there.

A nice little hotel with a great pool, close enough to Northside shops and restaurants while tucked away from some of the noise. Still, we were woken each night around 3:30 by a local rooster that kept going. It wasn’t as restful as we’d hoped, though there’s not much you can do about that. I’d recommend it to anyone who already knows Sayulita.

The room was roomy, with a comfortable bed, and the hotel is conveniently within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. But I wouldn’t stay again. The receptionist’s welcome was strange and unfriendly: we got a lecture about fines if we broke anything and being quiet at night. We’re a couple in our fifties and hardly look like party animals, so it felt uncalled for. The kitchen area was completely bare, without even a glass, cups, plates, cutlery, or utensils. Wi-Fi was down most of the time.
