Florence Sayulita

The place matched the description and was exactly what we wanted. Tony was a big part of that: since we’d never been to Sayulita, his recommendations and help with transportation made a real difference. He was always around and friendly. The hotel is simple but clean, with a hot shower, and the outdoor shower and pool were wonderful to come back to after long beach days. The rooftop is a great place for sunrise or sunset, and you can barbecue there. The walk to town and the beaches is steep, over rough cobblestones, but we knew that and didn’t mind. It keeps the area quiet and peaceful. It’s about 12 minutes down to Sayulita Plaza, and just a few minutes to Coyote Cafe, my favorite breakfast spot, which has great WiFi. The room stayed cool at night with the AC and fans. It had a safe, a mini fridge, and a freezer. There was a large jug of filtered water, refilled whenever we ran out. WiFi was okay, better in the living room than in the bedroom. For the price, I can’t imagine a better spot if you’re fine with the walk.

Things went sideways in PV while we were staying here, and Tony was unbelievable. He took such good care of all the guests and their needs throughout a stressful time. The rooftop is a lovely place to gather with friends, the rooms are clean, and the location is great.

The open-air saltwater pool is an absolute dream, and the rooftop is gorgeous. Watching the sunset up there every night felt magical. Florence was such a great place to stay, very clean and in a lovely quiet spot, with a short walk to town and some great beaches. Tony and the whole team were awesome and helped with all our questions. Try the nearby food recommendations too, everything we ate was amazing. I can’t recommend Sayulita’s food enough.

We had a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom suite that was well stocked with all sorts of amenities, including coffee and beer in the fridge. Tony was always available to answer questions and refill anything we needed. It’s a fantastic place to stay in Sayulita, in a quiet location with a rooftop deck, outdoor kitchen, comfy furniture, shade, and an amazing view. A 10 out of 10 stay. You won’t be disappointed!
