We were meant to stay at Villa Amor for a wedding, with full payment due 90 days beforehand. I’ve never had a hotel ask for payment that far ahead. We paid because we expected to attend, but our cat became very sick just before the wedding and I couldn’t go. I asked for a refund given the circumstances and was refused. They said every payment is non-refundable, regardless of what happens. It’s a horrible policy, and we’ll never stay at Villa Amor.

The service was great, and the pool was lovely. Our room was very clean and well stocked. It’s a beautiful hotel right on the shore, in the best location. We’ll definitely stay here again.

We spent three days at Villa Amor - The Mi Amor Suite and loved it. The staff were kind and welcoming, the suite was beautiful, and the pool got just the right amount of sun. The geckos and lemurs were cute, too. We made friends with some great tourists, borrowed a surfboard and a paddle-board, and enjoyed being close to town. We also got a massage at the jungle spa!! We had three times the experience we did at the all inclusive an hour South. We’ll definitely be back 😻 Do it, book this place! ❤️ 🇲🇽

Sayulita is a magical little city, with workers singing in the streets and amazing food. Villa Amor is a beautiful property, much larger than we expected, and the service and maid service were wonderful. The hard bed was my main complaint. In such a beautiful, romantic suite, it was sad to sleep on something as hard as a board, and the linens felt below par for the price. Our en suite pool wasn’t heated, and it was hard to get much hot water in the shower. It was warm enough that the shower worked out, and the lovely atmosphere and service still made us happy with our stay. I hope they upgrade the beds so we can return. Thanks for a wonderful weekend, Villa Amor.
