Villa los Corales

Rudolpho and his wife made us feel very welcome. It was a wonderful place, with a great rooftop pool and a view over Sayulita.

Beautiful views of the ocean and town, especially at sunset, and restaurants, shops, and main attractions are all within walking distance. The hotel suited me whether I was working or relaxing. The rooms and common areas were very clean. The front desk and admin staff stood out for being friendly, attentive, and helpful, and made the stay feel easy and welcoming, like home. I had a great stay and would come back. It’s a comfortable, convenient place, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free stay in a good location.

Our booking was for one night, Feb 22, 2026, the night of the cartel flare-up and regional lockdown. With the emergency and buses burning on the highways, we obviously couldn't get there. The owner, David, still kept half the booking fee. That policy felt unbelievably selfish at a time when tourists are especially vulnerable. Stay away from Villa los Corales.

The rooftop pool and view were the best part. The room was plain but had the basics, though the floor corners didn’t feel very clean. WiFi was poor and there was a lot of noise. The location was okay, with sloppy homes right nearby and bars and restaurants a few blocks away.
