UNICO 20°87° Hotel Riviera Maya

The beach and atmosphere were beautiful, the food was fresh and delicious, and the liquor was all top shelf. We’ve been here with a group for the past two years and everyone has been full of praise. It feels like a home away from home in a little paradise, and we’ve had no complaints. Laura was a fantastic host who kept things running smoothly, and the staff were wonderful throughout. Getting there and back was quick and comfortable. It’s great value for the money, and I can’t wait to return next year and make this a regular trip.

Unico 20 87 Hotel Riviera Maya felt calm and beautifully kept, just right for a restful trip without too much hustle. The atmosphere and cleanliness really impressed me, and both the food and service were lovely. It would make a great romantic escape. Laura Flores was a huge help, sorting out our dinner reservations and staying available whenever we had questions. She was so friendly, and I’d recommend her to anyone.

The easygoing atmosphere is a real plus, and there are pools to suit different tastes. We had two swim-up rooms and an ocean-front room, all beautiful, as is the resort itself. The servers were accommodating with food and drinks, though I wish the menu would change since it seems unchanged since the resort opened. Mi Carissa has always been our favorite for Italian food, and Avec, the new French restaurant, looks set to be great. The other restaurants are very good too, so try them all. We’ve visited Unico 20 87 many times, but this was the first trip for three of our family members, and they were impressed with everything. Roger and Berenice, our butlers, took care of our daily needs, from reserving pool and beach chairs to arranging dinner and spa bookings. We really appreciated their dedication. Antuan Rojas in members services quickly sorted out two small problems we had. We also enjoyed catching up with Monique and Herman, whom we first met years ago.

Karla made our honeymoon feel extra special. She arranged a breakfast with champagne for us through room service, decorated the room with flowers and balloons, and left us a bottle of wine and Mexican candies. She was kind and patient, paid close attention to what we needed, and handled our restaurant and spa bookings. We’d love to return to Unico 2087 and ask for her again. The pools were so relaxing, and the food and drinks were delicious. Lucia and Elvira were patient, attentive pool servers, and Carlos at Cueva Siete and Christopher at Avec gave us especially great service. Those were our two favorite restaurants. We’re still thinking back on that amazing week and will remember it for a lifetime.
