We booked four rooms and found it a good value. The hotel felt secure, the AC worked, and there was hot water. Staff were attentive and friendly, and I felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood. Small stores, pharmacies, and places to eat are nearby. The location worked well for us, close to the Laguna and just a short ride from downtown. I hadn't realized there was a continental breakfast until we arrived. It was basic and free, but nice to have a little something to start the day. We didn't use the pool, though we went up to the rooftop a couple of times. The pool looked clean, and there were nice tables and chairs up there.

The reception employee tried hard to find us a room that would work, but I couldn't see myself being comfortable there. The rooms smelled strongly of humidity, and they were small and had no windows, so they felt dark and cave-like. We decided not to stay because of the room conditions and asked for a refund, but it was refused.

The reception staff were fully professional and attentive. My room was very comfortable, nice, and, above all, clean. The downside was how easily sound carried: you could hear everything when people were out in the hall.

The place looks quite nice and the service is good, but I don't think the price is justified. The bathroom didn't look clean, and there was shampoo but no complimentary soap.
