Holiday Inn Express Tapachula, Chis, an IHG Hotel

The location is really good, with lots of restaurants nearby, a Starbucks close by if you like that kind of coffee shop, and a mall directly connected to the hotel. From the fourth floor you get a nice view and can see the sunrise well. The pool looked good, though I didn’t try it, and the loungers looked comfortable. The hotel is clean, the rooms are well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and I loved the shower setup. Breakfast wasn’t really to my taste, but there are enough choices that you won’t go hungry. The staff were friendly and attentive. One tip for management and warning for guests: move quickly when getting into the elevators. The doors close fast and may hit you, so the sensor and closing timer need adjustment. Otherwise, enjoy your stay, it’s a good place.

Everyone was extremely courteous and responsive. The rooms were very clean, and the included breakfast was excellent.

The hotel went beyond what I expected, and I have nothing bad to say. Everyone was excellent, from the front desk and kitchen to the cleaning and maintenance teams. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed the nearby shopping, the clean hotel, the pool, and the comfortable room. Our stay was pleasant, but I took off two stars because we booked two rooms under the same name and were put on different floors, even after we complained. I took off another star for the breakfast quality by the time the later guest arrived to eat.
