Hotel El Imperio

There were hardly any outlets for charging phones, the elevator was tiny, and the room smelled really strange. The reception staff were unfriendly and arrogant. When we brought up problems, they passed responsibility around instead of offering solutions or fixing anything. They only take cash, not cards. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. I'd look elsewhere.

Once you're settled in, it's peaceful and comfortable, away from the city's bustle. The hotel is nicely decorated inside and kept clean. It's on the free highway to Tepic, about a kilometer from Tequila. Finding it can be a little tricky since it's perched on a small hill right beside the highway.

From the street, it doesn't look like much, but inside it's a very pleasant place. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the rooms are well equipped and really clean. There's also a lovely terrace. Prices are very affordable, and a taxi can get you to downtown Tequila in 15 minutes. Definitely worth a stay.

It can be a little hard to find, so more directions or information about the location would help, especially if you're visiting for the first time. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean, and the service is generally very good.
