Grand Hotel Guaycura

I woke up after feeling bites and found several bite marks on myself. Checking the bed, I discovered bed bugs. When I asked for my money back, they said the manager wasn’t available and would be there the next day. I returned then, but she wouldn’t speak to me and just told an employee they don’t give refunds. I asked several times to talk with her, but she never came out. This place is not hygienic at all. Don’t stay here.

It’s conveniently located and reasonably priced, and some parts seem to be getting refurbished. But the quality is poor, and reception could use serious customer service training. This isn’t a five-star hotel, and not all the staff are helpful or friendly. It’s a bit of a mixed bag, you’ll see a little of everything.

The room cost way too much, and the front desk woman overcharged me, apparently thinking I wouldn’t notice. There wasn’t even toilet paper, and they don’t supply anything. I walked in and saw a roach crawling up the wall. They put me on the fourth floor, but there are no elevators, so carrying all my bags up six flights took more than one trip.

The prices are decent and it’s in a good spot near Macro plaza, but I wouldn’t stay here unless saving money was the main goal. The place was dirty, with bed bugs and mosquitoes, and I had to call the front desk a lot. Need I say more?
