The rooftop is beautiful and the staff are kind. The beds are comfortable too, and the hotel is close to the medical district. But I came here to rest and recover, and I haven’t been able to sleep. An arcade and casino next door blast music and bass all night and even early in the morning. Their 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. quiet hours don’t work for medical guests, and they don’t enforce them anyway. I wouldn’t come back. I’ve had problems every day. My first room was on the second floor by the elevator, where I could hear everything. I asked to move because I can’t walk far. They put me on the third floor, but at the far end of the hallway. The room wasn’t fully cleaned; no one came until after 4 p.m., and then they only cleaned half of it. None of my noise complaints were addressed. The listing said breakfast was included, but it actually costs extra, which is misleading. This isn’t somewhere to stay if you need quiet or recovery.

We had plenty of places to choose from this trip, but came back because Diego at the rooftop bar made our last stay so comfortable and memorable. He was amazing, attentive and friendly, and looked after us the whole time. Seeing him again was the reason we chose this hotel. If you’re there, stop by the rooftop and ask for Diego. He really makes the experience.

The location by Avenida Revolucion made it easy to get around on foot, and valet parked our car when we pulled up at the entrance. The room was spacious, and the bed seemed clean. The staff were extremely nice, and the hotel itself looks nice, but I wouldn’t stay again. You get what you pay for. The bathroom was awful. There was mold and dirt all over the shower, with water spots that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. I was afraid to stand in it in case I caught something, and running the water brought a foul smell. The sink was dirty, had no warm water, and splashed water onto the floor because of its design. The AC also wouldn’t hold a steady temperature, it either got too cold or blew hot air. An arcade right under the hotel plays loud music through the night until 7 a.m. The hotel itself is quiet, but that noise makes it a bad choice if you need peace.

The rooftop bar is nice, and the bartender is attentive. Ice for the bucket costs $3 US dollars. The location is perfect, but the hotel doesn’t deliver. This was my third stay, and all three times there were room problems. I’m looking for another hotel in the area. The main issue each time was poor cleaning. On my second visit, the toilet had a sanitized label, but it clearly hadn’t even been lightly cleaned. The bathroom counter had a cap from disposable razors on it, so I don’t think that was cleaned either. The room had no soap, shampoo, lotion or towels, even though those amenities are promised. On my second and third trips there were no towels at all. On the third, there was just one face towel, not even a bath mat. I asked the front desk, and they said someone would bring towels. After 30 minutes I went back down, and was told they might arrive within two hours. I said I was heading out to meet friends and needed to shower, but the only response was “I'm sorry.” I had to dry off with a T-shirt. The same front desk worker didn’t even look up from his phone when I came in at 2 a.m. So much for security. I also stayed in the same room as on my first trip during this third visit, and the maintenance issues I’d already pointed out to management were still there, including blackout curtains that wouldn’t close properly. It’s a noisy area, and the front or side rooms let in everything, even people talking as they walk down the promenade. It seems like they never installed double-paned noise-dampening windows. The common areas also need attention: there’s dust in the corners of the stairs and floors, and fingerprints cover the glass railings, making the place look cheap and dirty. There are no room safes, which left us uneasy about where to keep extra wallets and other valuables. The hotel seems to be part of a chain. It could be a four-star hotel, but it looks like it was built in a hurry. At least the local management doesn’t seem attentive to details or to making sure staff do their jobs. It needs someone to come in and identify what to improve. If it were maintained and serviced properly, it could charge more.

The room itself was lovely, with a balcony, and everyone else I dealt with was kind and helpful. But the noise from the main road made sleeping impossible without earplugs, and staying on the Revolution side seems like a bad idea. I spent 30 days there and well over fifty thousand pesos, yet I won't return because of Fernanda. Her communication was the worst I've experienced, and she was extremely rude. I hate leaving a harsh review, but she shouldn't be handling the public. Management should move her to the laundry room or, better, let her go.
