Posada Doa A Lala

I only ate at the restaurant, didn't stay overnight. The food was all delicious.

My family and I loved the hotel's culture. It was very clean, the mattresses were comfortable, and the air conditioning was just right. The pool was beautiful. The restaurant staff were friendly, though the food could be better.

Most of the staff were polite and friendly, and the amenities were generally what we'd expected for the price. But the pool wasn't working. The water was greenish with algae, and although the manager said it would be fixed, nobody even touched it. The TV picture in one room was very grainy. When we brought it up, the manager got defensive and rude, and an older lady who seemed to be senior was even ruder. They reluctantly moved our party to another room. The hotel was practically empty, so they could have given us a similar or better room, but they never apologized and acted bothered and confrontational. Instead, they put us in the smallest room possible. Its air conditioning wasn't working properly either, but we chose not to raise another issue. We feel bad for the employees who depend on this work, but we won't return.

We only ate at the restaurant, and the meal was fantastic, really tasty with prompt service. Manuel, our waiter, was very friendly, attentive, and nice.
