Hotel Oasis

I was disappointed. The bathroom has a pretty bad smell.

Horrible.

We used to like this place for the price, and because there weren't bedbugs. The rooms are fine in general, and my husband and I used to come once, twice or even three times a week. But after our last visit, we've stopped. They put us in a room with a bathroom that didn't work. The pipes were bad, the shower drain smelled awful, and water wouldn't go down in either the drain or the sink. Room service never seems to have food beyond Maruchan soups or hamburgers, even though everything on the menus is unavailable. The receptionist is always in a bad mood when you call. We went on a Monday, and I left my silver personal protection chain behind. It's not very valuable, but I told the receptionist and asked her to check. The logbook is supposed to record license plates and check-in and check-out times, and there should be a record of each room. She said the room wasn't available because its bathroom was broken. I pointed out that we'd been given that room and were stuck with the broken bathroom, but they still wouldn't move us. When I asked again about the chain, the receptionist refused, saying nobody is responsible for things left in rooms. They expect guests to look after their property, even when it's broken. I'm left dissatisfied. I'm not saying every employee is like this, some are always friendly, but this receptionist doesn't give customers the attention they need when a problem could be fixed, and she doesn't even listen.
