The sign out front said happy hour, but I didn’t see any discounts. Maybe it was just an acknowledgment of the patrons’ mood. 😉 We stopped for a drink, and it was the best margarita I had in Mexico on this trip. A bit pricey in my opinion, $20 can.

Didn’t stay there, just tried some tequila and paid 100 pesos to use the bathroom. It’s a cute little centro town, and the place has a cool, historic-ish feel.

We popped in for a quick cocktail while waiting to check into our hotel, which isn’t the hotel California. It’s a fun, kitschy place where everyone takes pictures of the “hotel, California” quote. Whether it really is or not remains a mystery.

I never stayed here. It’s expensive, not pet friendly, and just a name, nothing to do with the eagles. People love it anyway. It’s probably pretty, but that’s about it.
