Quinta del Rey Express

The rooms are roomy and clean, and if you don't eat much in the morning, the breakfast may be enough. Still, it was disappointing and not really a continental breakfast. The restaurant has few options and no table service, and there's no room service either. The hotel was okay, just don't expect too much.

There was no water available at the hotel. They couldn't provide any to go with the pizza I ordered, so I had to drink a sweet beverage instead. The receptionist was also impolite when I asked questions. Worst hotel experience of my life.

The price was fair, and the rooms were clean, standardized, and spacious enough for a night or two. Service felt a little superficial. They couldn't provide water, and getting a spoon or knife from the restaurant turned into a discussion.

I mainly picked this place so the kids could use the pool, but it wasn't my first choice. The room was clean and looked nice, and the shower got hot. The TV had hardly any channels beyond news and bad shows, with no movies. The kitchen food felt like prison food, though fries and Coke are hard to mess up. The heating and cooling unit looked nice but barely changed the temperature and had just one fan setting. And there's no coffee in the rooms. As an American, I guess I'm used to better hotels.
