The gardens around the hotel and restaurant are beautiful, and it really feels like stepping into another world. A dozen of us came by motorcycle today with a reservation. We enjoyed the food and the service, and I’m already looking forward to bringing my wife to stay at the hotel. I’m sure she’ll love it. Thank you.

The meals were a pleasant surprise, and every bite felt like a treat. The drinks list is a little limited, though. The spa is small, but the view is peaceful, with a waterfall that looked a bit gray after the recent rains, unlike the photos on IG. The staff were so attentive and made sure we felt well looked after.

We left without ordering after waiting 15 minutes. We arrived at the restaurant around 1220hrs on May 19th 2024 without a reservation, and the hostes seated us right away on the terrace, facing a lovely waterfall view. There were only four tables being served, apparently by three waiters, so it didn’t seem busy. After they’d passed our table for five minutes, one waiter said hello and brought silverware. Nobody came by to give us a menu or check on us during the next 15 minutes. On the way out, we saw another family, seated inside at the same time as us, still waiting too. We told a waiter no one had come to our table. He just said, “oh ok,” and went off somewhere, while the waiters were standing around chatting and enjoying their conversation. The food smelled great, but I can’t recommend this so-called service. It’s a shame, because the place is beautiful. Such a waste.

The view of the waterfall and the setting are lovely, but that didn’t make up for the food for me. My family and I came for breakfast, and I was disappointed by how little we got for the price. I ordered huevos en cazuela: two eggs with some minced meat in a small pan, no salsa or spices, with sour cream on the side. It came with a 150ml cup of coffee and half a glass of orange juice. That was all, with no fruit or even a side salad. I wanted at least some fiber. The dish cost 185$, which feels overpriced. If you’re hungry or hoping to try new flavors, the nice atmosphere doesn’t really matter.

The place is beautiful and definitely worth visiting. The dough is a little pricey, though, and the menu could use more variety.
