It's a shame, because the rooms and facilities are the best in the area, but the service is horrid. Nobody seems to care about the hotel, not even enough to leave a key or anything.

The location is good, and the beds are comfortable; the towels and sheets were clean too. Still, the bathroom had pests, the shower leaked and left water pooling, and the pool wasn't maintained. Service from the staff was just okay. It's acceptable, with reservations.

The pool was dirty when we arrived and looked like it hadn't been maintained for days. The room also wasn't ready when we got there at 3 PM, and when they finally gave it to us, it was filthy. The owner was strict from the start, laying out all her rules before we even got a room. We paid an extremely high price, perhaps because it was Carnival, but the service wasn't worth it. We stayed two nights, and they only took out the trash and dusted the beds. They didn't clean the bathroom or change the blankets or towels. It felt very unsanitary. We barely slept because of all the noise outside and the lack of soundproofing. Water pooled badly when we showered, and there were puddles in the room too, possibly from a leak. I do not recommend this inn.

The service started out well, and the inn was clean and in a great spot, but it felt pricey for such basic rooms. I also hope the staff get the benefits they’re legally entitled to, wink wink. I overheard a teacher scolding the cleaning staff. The pool was cold when we stopped for a bit before leaving. Then that same teacher told us checkout was at 12, not 1, and said we could pay a penalty. Her rude, arrogant manner left us feeling awful as we headed out. Looking through the reviews later, I saw we weren’t the only guests she’d scolded. She needs to remember guests aren’t her students anymore. After that, the other problems stood out too: an uncomfortable hard bed and giant cockroaches. Never again. Someone should give her a course in manners and customer service.
