The staff were friendly, and the hotel seemed new, though it didn't have many amenities. During my one-night stay the hot water wasn't working, so showering in lukewarm water wasn't pleasant. One of the blankets was stained, and they should provide bar soap.

The service was great, and the place was clean and well maintained. There's no restaurant, but you have plenty of nearby places to eat.

It looks like they're trying to update the hotel. The older day clerk was very friendly and eager to help, but the night clerk wasn't useful. He couldn't suggest local dinner spots, and when I asked for help getting a taxi, he just pointed at some numbers. The shower head sprayed water in every direction, and the bed sheets looked stained.

The location works well, with several wedding venues nearby, and the staff were friendly when we spoke with them. But the shower was clogged in my room and my family's rooms, and turning on the air conditioning filled the room with a really unpleasant smell. They clearly aren't maintaining the facilities properly.

The rooms are basic, but they were clean, and there's secure parking. Hacienda Chiconcuac is very close, so this is a great spot if you're going to a wedding there.
