Alicat Villas

The landlord was kind and explained how everything worked. Appliances and air conditioning all worked great, and the place was beautiful. There’s a convenience store next door for beer, snacks, and water, so it’s easy to pop over when you need a refill. Cats live on the property, which made everything even better. After a long day exploring, the clean private pool was great to jump into.

The people at Alicat villas were sweet and attentive, and Jaredth was especially welcoming and always there if I needed help. The villa felt full of natural beauty, and I liked it a lot. My room was very spacious, with one of the best beds I’ve slept in. It was an excellent stay.

I spent the weekend at the villas with my 7 year old daughter. She had so much fun in the pool and riding the bikes, which are available to rent. Everything was nearby, including a small grocery store right beside the property. We loved the eco-chic feel, from the wooden cabins to all the beautiful plants around the place.

We loved having breakfast on our large private terrace, and the fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed to make it each morning. The room felt spacious, with high ceilings, carved wooden furniture, and beautiful design. There were plenty of mirrors and hooks, and enough space for morning yoga. The king size bed was comfortable with clean, lovely white sheets, the air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure was great. Hanging plants throughout the property and vines along the entrance made it feel like being in the jungle, surrounded by nature. The pool was spotless, perfect for cooling off after a day out. In the heart of La Veleta, it’s within walking distance of excellent local restaurants, bars, street food, and fashion stores. There’s also a grocery store next door for water, alcohol, snacks, and basic vegetables. It’s an easy 15 mins to the beach by car or 25 mins by bicycle. Two adorable cats greeted us at the entrance, and the host was responsive and helpful, with lots of local recommendations for restaurants, cenotes, and more. Plenty of Airbnbs are around, but this place felt much homier. The host was kind and attentive. Highly recommend Alicat Villas!
