This place felt like a total rip-off. They only told us the tap water was salty after we'd paid, and they said there were no refunds under any circumstances. The shower water was actually salty, not just a little off. For two people, they provided one 1-liter bottle for drinking and brushing teeth, with no refill station nearby. We had to cross the street for more water. The rooms are basically shipping containers in a parking lot, with essential furniture missing and nowhere to set a phone. The bathroom and shower sit right beside the bed, divided only by a piece of wood and a curtain, so there's no privacy or comfort. Everything looks made from the cheapest materials. Our room wasn't clean when we arrived, and sound carries so badly that you hear everything the neighbors say and do. They even charge extra for parking when the room is literally in the parking lot. Not worth the price at all. Avoid it.

The beach service was painfully slow, and they tried to charge us extra for chairs and an umbrella even though we were staying at the resort. A complete rip-off. By the third day, bugs from the falling ceiling were landing on my bed, and the front desk barely responded. Management and the owners should sell the place to someone else. It's poorly run from top to bottom. My stay in the “Atlantic Suite” was nowhere near a suite, and the trip was a nightmare from the start. I booked here for Tulum in January for Zamna. On arrival, my AC was broken and they told me, “no it’s always like that.” My friend's room also had a broken unit, but theirs was replaced that day. They claimed nothing could be done for me, so I tipped the front desk guy $20 just to get a fan. The next day a storm came through and flooded my room because the roof was made of some straw-like material. It was miserable. After I asked twice, they finally cleaned the room, then replaced the wall AC because it was so hot. This place isn't worth the money, hassle, headaches or energy. Pick somewhere else on the strip.

The location is really good, and some of the staff are nice, but the stay felt average for the price. People were friendly, yet service was poor. Breakfast cost $100 for a family of four and took over an hour to arrive. The rooms are rustic. What we hated most was that the beach beds were being rented to people who weren't hotel guests instead of being reserved for those staying there.

I felt really looked after here. Everyone on staff was welcoming and professional, and I loved my room. If you're lucky, you might see baby sea turtles hatch right at the resort. Thanks for an amazing trip♥️
