Cachito de Cielo Luxury Jungle Lodge

Alberto and Tania were quick to help, and we really appreciated being allowed to check out late for our night flight. Our villa, Corazón Generoso - Deluxe Villa with Terrace, had plenty of space and clean bathrooms, though the mattress was pretty firm and the kitchenette was short on utensils and equipment. The setting is a little oasis, with bright greenery, encouraging words around the property, and a beautiful pool. Butterflies, frogs, dragonflies, cats, all sorts of wildlife were around. It felt secluded and peaceful, like our own small patch of jungle paradise. We stayed five nights with my partner. Cahito de Cielo Quiet is a short drive north of centro Tulum, but the road is rough, with some steep dips. Make sure your car can handle it, and I'd recommend getting the dents and bumps coverage. We had plenty of laughs on the bumpy drive. We enjoyed our stay and would come back to Tulum.

Alberto and Tania were wonderful hosts, available whenever we needed them while still giving us privacy to enjoy time together. Cachito de Cielo sits behind Tulum in the jungle, surrounded by wildlife and the sounds of nature. The place seems thoughtfully designed to fit its natural surroundings. If we're back in the Rivera Maya, we'll return. Thank you.

I came here for a retreat, and would happily return for a holiday. The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished, and each has two toilets, a terrace, and a kitchenette with the equipment you might need. The owner's home-cooked food tasted so fresh, I can't recommend it enough. Everything felt carefully put together with an open heart. You're surrounded by jungle, but still not far from places to visit. It really does feel like a little piece of heaven, just like the name cachito de cielo suggests. As soon as I arrived, everything changed.

The hosts were so friendly and took time to tell us about places to see and eat. The forest setting is magical and peaceful, yet close to Tulum's main attractions and beaches. Everything is stylishly furnished, and we liked it so much we didn't want to leave. We spent three adventurous nights at Cachito de cielo and will definitely be back.
