A cozy garden, clean rooms, comfy bed, and good A/C made for a lovely low season stay. The price was great, and Aurora, the owner, is an awesome person 🙏 There's also a big, majestic palm tree in the garden 🌴

The room was nice, above average for this price range, and the owner was friendly and helpful. The location is off the Main Street. The only drawback was ants from the garden, so don't bring food back to your room.

We spent two nights here during our Central America trip. It’s a small, pleasant hostel with double rooms, each opening onto a leafy courtyard, and the WC and shower are separate. Right in downtown Tulum, with that hippy feel.

The rooms felt fresh, were really comfortable, and had a nice design with quality that reminded me of European standards. Free bikes were available and working, though they could use better maintenance. The only things I missed were soap and somewhere to set my shower things.

The quick, friendly replies whenever I needed something made a difference. Casa Abanico has a genuinely relaxed feel, and although it’s right in the center, it stays incredibly quiet. Everything was clean, well cared for, and had what I needed. A rare mix of comfort, calm, and a great location.
