The restaurant has a beautiful view, especially around sunset. We stopped by for drinks a couple of times and had dinner once. Their Margaritas are outstanding: they bring the shaker to the table, so you can top up your glass with another cold pour. The hibiscus Margarita is excellent. The mixed salad was fresh and filling, and the cesadilla was good. The tuna steak and fish tacos were a bit disappointing. The service was very !

The beach location with palm trees is lovely, though the beach itself is quite small. The nearby cenote connects to the sea, and it was fascinating to watch the water in the sea appear to be “boiling.” The cenote across the road is private, so you have to pay to enter. Getting there means about 10 minutes on an extremely bumpy road. The staff were friendly, and the grounds look really nice at first. Still, the place feels worn, and the reality falls short of what the website photos suggest. The shower barely had any water, the water pump was noisy, and the new curtains didn't fully cover the windows. The front door was hard to close, and the sliding door lock was broken, so we had to use a stick to secure it. The food was okay, though not excellent. A welcome drink had been promised, but we didn't get one, and I didn't ask about it. For the price, I expected more based on the website. Nice for one night, but the place feels faded despite its special location.

The rooftop view was fantastic. We stopped in for Sunday lunch, with a BBQ buffet, margaritas, and live music. Would definitely recommend it.

I spent hours on the patio hammock, listening to the ocean and birds with the Caribbean in front of me. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had a simple rustic feel that fit the setting. This quiet beachfront hotel in Quintana Roo felt like a real escape from everyday noise, with no crowds or scramble for a lounge chair. The sunrises were incredible. I'd get up early almost without trying, take my coffee down to the sand, and watch the sky go from dark to orange, pink, and gold. It felt spiritual. I left feeling refreshed and already thinking about coming back. If you want a clean, cozy place to unwind by the sea and enjoy the natural beauty, this spot really delivers.

The food was a highlight, especially the aguachiles and Sunday BBQ with those famous margaritas. Ask Miguel ahead of time about the fresh catch dinner. They spear fish, bring it back, and grill whatever they caught. It was the freshest, cleanest ocean meal I've ever had. We stayed four nights in late April and had exactly the laid-back getaway we wanted. The vintage feel was unpretentious, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and opened right onto the sea. Everything at the on-site restaurant was great, and the staff made us feel like family. They can arrange whatever activity you're after, from diving, snorkeling, and fishing to exploring the beautiful cenote across the street.
