Casa Gatos ended up being the best part of our trip. Dave and Dan were so lovely. When they found out we were originally from Turkey, they looked up Turkish breakfast and learned new recipes just for us. You get much more than what's shown on the booking page. After the craziness of Cancun and Tulum, we wanted to see a more authentic side of Mexico. I had been a little worried about safety with the kids, but our time here turned out so well.
Leaving was the hard part. We missed the hosts and their home as soon as we were gone. They were great guys, generous with local tips and warnings about areas that seemed questionable. The location was great too. I couldn't have asked for more, and I'd be thrilled if they hosted every trip I took around the world.
The lodgings were comfortable and quiet. The owners live here, and they were great hosts, offering useful information and warm hospitality.
So beautiful, and soooo peaceful.
The setting is ideal for a relaxing vacation. The grounds are lovingly cared for, the apartments have everything you need, and the hosts are attentive and helpful. One of the most beautiful properties I've ever stayed at.
