The hostel is cute and centrally located, and I especially liked the open shower in Tulum’s tropical climate. The atmosphere felt romantic, but the hallway light stayed on all night and shone through the wooden poles that make up the room. Keep the mosquito net closed or you’ll be dinner!

We had the worst night. While we were asleep, someone got into our room despite the locked door and took all our valuables, including our passports and professional camera. They even unplugged the phones charging right beside us on both nightstands. I wish we’d read the earlier review about robberies before staying. I don’t consider this a safe place, and there have been other robberies here before. Avoid it.

We loved the place, especially the animals: two cats and one dog. The rooms were really nice, and so were the owners. No complaints at all.

More than $4,000 in cash was stolen from six guests after someone searched three rooms. The “owner” and “employees” asked how we could prove we had the money and didn’t cooperate, not even by calling the police. The place had a different name before, and police confirmed this had happened multiple times already. Avoid it at all costs!

Quiet despite being close to the center, this place was simple, clean, and cozy. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the owner was really nice and helpful. Highly recommend.
