We strongly recommend avoiding this place. They confirmed our direct website reservation, but only sent poor screenshots instead of a proper receipt, and then became hard to reach. When we arrived, they claimed it had been cancelled and showed an email that apparently had never been sent. Liana was especially rude and seemed unconcerned that this could ruin our vacation. We expect she may reply with more falsehoods, given how fake and unpleasant she was. We hope she gets treated the same way on her own vacation.

We were left outside with our two children and had to find another hotel in a hurry, paying 60% more than planned. We had booked through the Casa Wahh website, where the confirmation said payment was due when we arrived. Since no confirmation email came through, I messaged Liana twice and she confirmed the booking, as the screenshots show. But on arrival day she said it wasn't confirmed because we hadn't paid. At the apartment, security wouldn't let us in, and Liana ignored our calls and request for a callback. She sent only brief WhatsApp messages saying there was no booking under my name. I can only think she gave the apartment to someone who paid more. A very bad experience.

I loved the look of the place, and the two-bedroom apartment with a pool was really comfortable and relaxing. It's not a hotel, though staff are on site, and it feels very secure. The beach is nearby, with food and things to do just around the corner. So beautiful, 10/10.

We were initially disappointed because there isn't a shared pool in the complex, and only some apartments have private ones. We hadn't noticed that when booking. The receptionist pointed us to a restaurant with a public pool in the center of the community, just a minute away. Both the restaurant and the pool were great for the kids. We loved the apartment, too, it felt like every detail had been considered. We'll definitely come back.

The host Anel was the best part of our stay. She answered our questions and concerns promptly and did everything she could to make things pleasant. We had a massage and clay mask in the room, and that was a 10/10. The on-site restaurant TUUCh was great as well. Casa Wahh itself is beautiful, in a luxury apartment complex, though it's about a 20-minute taxi ride from central Tulum's restaurants and resorts. Taxi drivers in Tulum can be scammers, so I'd suggest renting a car. Keep in mind these are apartments, not an adults-only resort, and there may be children or dogs around, which the host can't control. We didn't get to the spa. I enjoyed my stay, and it made being in Tulum pleasant.
