Encantada Tulum

We loved the beach, especially relaxing under the covered day beds, reading, and having tasty food brought to us. The free bikes were a great extra, and the concierge team arranged a couple of wonderful private tours and our airport transport. My husband and I spent a week at Encantada and had an amazing time. The food was excellent, our room was perfectly appointed, and the service went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The hotel felt peaceful and luxurious, with a great location that was close to everything yet quiet. We're so glad we stayed here in Tulum.

A lovely choice for a solo trip. I could properly relax here, right on the beach, and the staff were warm throughout my stay. The concierge team was especially helpful and attentive. My room was lovely, breakfast was excellent, and the hotel seemed very well managed. I also enjoyed access to the amenities at their sister hotels next door and the good range of hotel restaurants. Highly recommend.

The setting is so relaxing, with the beach right there, lovely nature, and palm trees and greenery all around. We spent 7 days at Encantada in the last week of March. The hotel was beautiful and peaceful, just as it looked in the pictures, and our room had great decor, very good cleaning, and excellent privacy. Service and location were both very good. Breakfast was good, but yogurt and granola every day for 7 days got repetitive. A few protein options on some days would be a nice change for longer stays. Sargassum season arrived early this year, so we couldn't fully enjoy the sea and beach. The sunbeds were comfortable, though, and the beach was still beautiful.

I went for a proper beach vacation in February 2026 and felt safe and well looked after as a solo traveler. I spent my days by the water from sunrise until after dinner, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the beach were all great. By my second morning, the beach servers remembered my order and brought it without me asking. The locals selling mangoes were a highlight. Turn-down treats were a nice touch, and housekeeping was top notch. I took off a star because the website and hotel didn't seem aligned, and there were issues between booking and arrival. The rates also felt exorbitant for what it is. Just be aware there’s no mini fridge, coffee, tea, or kettle in the room.
