After our tour at the biosphere of Sian ka'an, we had lunch with our group here. The view was amazing, as you'd expect, and the staff were lovely. The food was delicious too. It's in a little fisherman's village that feels like a hidden paradise.

The Mexicano pizza was spicy and huge, and it came out fast. Honestly, it was our only non-Mexican order on the trip, but we enjoyed it. The guacamole was a good portion, though nothing really stood out about it. Then again, maybe I just like all guac. For drinks we had Diet Coke and Fanta. They brought over a few sauces, mostly chili, which is always nice. Just keep in mind they're bottled sauces, not house-made. The staff were friendly too.

We stopped here for lunch on our way through Sian Kaan and didn't have much time to stay longer. I really liked the village's special atmosphere, away from the heavy tourism. The fish was locally caught and super tasty, and dessert was good too. The staff were very friendly. I can highly recommend it.

Dinner here was a whole experience, with sand under your feet and lights swaying in the ocean breeze. I loved the people and the food, and my whole stay was out of this world. Get the javanero salsa! Any time I'm in the Yucatan, this is where I'll go.

The place looks great, but lunch was terrible. We stopped during a day tour to Sian Kaan and I think we got the “Tourist Special” menu for 200 mxn/person: processed fish tempura, instant mashed potatoes, chicken Alfredo, and a jello shot for dessert. Seriously? It made no sense to serve that in Mexico, where basic, fresh, tasty food is so easy to find.
