Increíble Townhouse de 3 Rec. con Alberca Privada

I stayed from Friday to Sunday. The hotel is in a good part of Tulum, very close to downtown, and it’s clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable, the pool is amazing, and the view is a 10/10. Elizabeth at the front desk was very nice and helped me with everything I needed. The hotel is in a new area and can be hard to find, but they were good about sending directions.

Rafael, the hotel manager, was so hospitable and made us feel at home. He suggested nearby coffee shops and restaurants that made our stay even more enjoyable. The service staff and housekeepers were attentive and kept the property clean. Our king room had everything we needed, and after long days out on excursions, we could sink into the sheets and get a good night’s rest. I loved the rooftop pool most of all. It was great for sunbathing during the day, and the stars looked stunning at night. The whole place has a calming feel as soon as you enter. It felt like I’d found a gem. When I’m in Tulum and want to get away from the noise, I’ll book at Ko'os again.

The staff were really friendly, even though they only spoke Spanish. The location was fairly convenient, between downtown and the beach, with cafes and restaurants within walking distance, and the area felt safe. But the food I tried nearby was very disappointing. They seem to be aiming for hipster vibes in Aldea Zama, though the quality is poor, and the area can feel very dead. Sound carries straight through the rooms, and the lobby has no real front walls, so I heard everything. People and cats hollering woke me throughout the night. It also got very cold at night even with the fan and AC off. There aren’t proper blankets, just bedsheets, so ask for extra sheets if you get cold easily. The pool was small and not clean.

I stayed four days, and the staff were very friendly. You can rent bikes at the hotel, or walk to another place nearby if they’ve run out. There’s always hot water, and beach towels are available at the front desk. The rooftop is really nice, and it’s great that you can get up there any time, day or night. The walls are very thin, so I could hear everything my neighbors were doing. It didn’t bother me much since I can sleep through anything. The shower can also send water all over the bathroom floor if you turn it up high.
