The cenote was such a calm, beautiful place to cool off, and we also loved the café, with its range of coffees, teas, juices, and more. The woman working there was always so pleasant. The service after we arrived was good, even though they weren't very responsive on WhatsApp beforehand. We stayed at Kan Tulum and would definitely return. Our room had a private rooftop terrace with a plunge pool, which was great for reading, sunbathing, or just having some quiet time. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having a small kitchen and fridge. I was concerned by another review saying the whole property was shaded, but finding sun wasn't a problem. There are shared rooftop spots with full sun, the restaurant pool looked sunny too, though we didn't use it, and the main pool had enough sunny areas when we visited one afternoon. A few small things were frustrating, but they didn't spoil the stay. We couldn't get the ceiling fan remote or one lamp to work, and we never figured out the safe. Bright outdoor lights right outside our window and door shone toward the bed. There were blinds, but I like falling asleep and waking up with the view. One unrelated tip if you're renting a car or scooter: read reviews of the gas stations and watch the meter, especially at the one closest to Kan.

Sergio and Mauricio at reception made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. They were upbeat, kind, professional, and always ready to help, whether we needed recommendations, arrangements, or anything else. Their care made the stay feel special, and the whole team seemed to take guests seriously. KAN Hotel was a peaceful, beautiful place, and I had an unforgettable time there. Sam, the owner, deserves a special thank you for creating it. You can see his vision throughout the hotel. I'd absolutely recommend staying here in Tulum, and I can't wait to return.

The rooms, cenote, and yoga shala are stunning, and the team made the experience even better. They're warm, attentive, and clearly care about how each guest feels. I've hosted several yoga retreats here, so I've seen how accommodating they are firsthand. Kan sits in the Tulum jungle between central town, La Valeta, and the beach, making it a great base for different kinds of Tulum trips.

It's a lovely, romantic little hideaway in the jungle. Our room was spacious and had a boho feel, and the private rooftop with plunge pool gave us great sunset views. The construction was a shame, though, since it meant we couldn't go down to see or swim in their cenote.

The cenote in the middle of the hotel was a beautiful place to cool off, and the restaurant served outstanding food. My wife and I loved the whole stay. Everything feels carefully designed, the room was clean and just the right size, and the atmosphere was genuinely relaxing without costing a fortune. Getting to the beach is easy by car, and biking works just as well. We highly recommend it and will be back. It'll be nice to see how the place develops.
