We had the best four nights at Piedra Escondida, in room 8. The ocean views were beautiful, and the sound of the waves sent us to sleep. The staff were so kind. At the restaurant, I had the best meal of our trip, Filete de Dorado al Maracuya, and the bar served the best drink I've ever had. Franco was our server and is the man, go visit! There were also two turtle nests on the beach when we arrived 💗

We loved sitting by the water with the ocean breeze at this on-site restaurant. The seafood was very fresh and prepared in a clean, healthy way. Highly recommend it for a quiet, romantic dinner away from the party zone.

Piedra Escondido was a perfect place for a quieter New Year's. We were in Tulum over the holiday, and it was one of the only places that didn't throw an all-night rager. We spent two lovely weeks decompressing there, and the staff were friendly, warm, and accommodating. We ate most of our meals at the restaurant, especially enjoying the fresh ceviche and range of fresh fish. Juanita, our dependable, warm-hearted morning and afternoon server, kicked butt every day, and all the servers were wonderful. Thanks to the kitchen staff too, the hidden heroes! We lost hot water for one afternoon, but they kept us informed, so it was no big deal. Travel takes flexibility, and we had a wonderful experience.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere lovely. A special mention for our waitress Joanita, who was incredible: friendly, attentive, and very professional. She made the experience even better, and we'll definitely be back!

The little area around the hotel was a treat, with plenty of restaurants an easy walk away. Room 4 was fantastic, and the staff were kind. Add the clean space, generous free breakfast, and great margaritas, and this became one of my favorite stays. Being right by the ocean made it even more special. A real highlight of my trip through Belize and Mexico.
