Posada Lamar Tulum Beach Front and Pool

The hotel's beach party had fun dancing late into the night, while the rest of the place felt calm and serene. It's a 10-minute walk from the main hotel zone. The massage was incredible, and there were little chances to relax throughout our stay. Our rooms were always clean, and the staff arranged a taxi whenever we asked. The breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs with bacon, jam toast, and granola yoghurt. A beautiful dog roaming around was a lovely bonus. Everyone was kind and communicated clearly, doing their best to make our trip memorable. Adriana and Nicholas were especially attentive. I highly recommend this place in Tulum, and I'll be back!

Breakfast on the terrace in the morning was a special treat, and the staff gave me useful tips on where to eat and what to do. The rooms were clean and cool, and I was comfortable using just the fan. The beds were comfy, and I loved the thatched roof. There are also massages, either on the beach or in a relaxing massage tent. Thanks to Adriana and everyone for a fun, restful stay. The hotel is just steps from the ocean, outside the party zone but close to what you need. I'd recommend staying here solo, as a couple, or with family. Can't wait to come back. Thank you!

The place was beautifully decorated, and the staff were very attentive. When we couldn't find the beers on the menu, the waiter brought them all over so we could see what to order. Another waiter talked us through the pasta dishes in detail, which was a nice touch. My girlfriend and I had spotted the place while walking by one night and decided to try it. We ordered two pasta dishes, then saw a neighboring table with a pizza menu. When we asked to see it and maybe change our order, the waiter said we were at the wrong table to order pizza. We laughed, but he was serious, so we stuck with pasta. I don't know why they hadn't offered us the pizza menu, and the table explanation didn't seem like a good enough reason. Otherwise, great service, nice pasta, and a really lovely setting.

The scenery is lovely, but the pizza tasted like a frozen one from a box and cost way too much for what it was. Service was practically nonexistent. We ordered two cocktails from one server and they never came, so 20 minutes later we ordered from someone else. Those arrived, then the bill charged us for four. The cocktails were extremely expensive, too. We came today after a blog recommended the place, and it was a bad decision. There are so many lovely places along the beach, don't waste your time here.
