We’d happily come back to Sana Hotel in Tulum. Our penthouse had plenty of space, thoughtful design, and a fantastic rooftop. The beach area was relaxed, with comfortable sunbeds. The whole hotel has that calm, intimate boutique feel, and the staff were kind and quick to respond all week. We had a really enjoyable stay.

I spent four nights at Hotel Sana Tulum for my birthday, and also DJed at the beach club, which made me even happier. The place is new, beautifully kept, and run very professionally. Itai’s vision and dedication show throughout the property, and I’m glad to count him as a great friend. The sea views from this beachfront hotel were a treat each morning. My room was spacious and beautiful, with elegant Moroccan touches, warm colors, and lovely textures that made everything feel both refined and peaceful. Breakfast and dinner were highlights too. The Israeli and Middle Eastern food was fresh, full of flavor, and presented beautifully. Each meal felt carefully put together. I had an injury during my stay, and Mario from Security helped me right away. Sonia looked after me so well throughout the visit. Thanks also to Esteban, Jorge Felipe, and Oscar at the beach club and restaurant for their attentive service, and to Saul, Renato, and Jose at the front desk for being warm and professional. Hotel Sana Tulum feels like a carefully considered place shaped by heart and vision. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and great hospitality in Tulum. Can’t wait to return. 👌😋💙

We’re wrapping up our first week in Tulum, and it’s tough to leave Sana. The oceanfront room with a private pool was beautiful and so relaxing throughout the day. We ordered plenty of food over the week, and it was delicious and healthy. I also liked that the beach area is a bit smaller than at some other hotels. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and they remembered my name every time. We’d looked at lots of hotels before booking, so I’m really glad we chose Sana. It’s been an amazing stay, and we’d gladly come back if we return to Tulum.

Breakfast could use more staff. At busy times, the waits were long and service slowed down. We also noticed breakfast was slower the morning after a service charge or tip had been added automatically. It gave us the impression that service might slow if you don’t tip extra, though that’s just how it felt to us. The beach club has a nice atmosphere and good service, and the hotel is stylish, clean, and well maintained. The architecture and interiors make for a relaxing stay, and the restaurants serve genuinely good food with a nice range of choices. Still, it’s inconvenient that there’s no shower at the beach club after a swim. At around €400 a night, that seems like a basic thing to have. Cocktails also cost a lot more than at similar hotels nearby. There’s a lot to like here, especially the design, beach club, and restaurants. Clearer pricing, a beach club shower, and more breakfast staff would make the stay much better.

Joss made our four days at Sana feel like a stay in paradise. His kindness was so natural and heartfelt that we felt at home, and his recommendations, thoughtful surprises, and good attitude made the trip special. He’s exactly the kind of person you want around on vacation. The hotel has been open only 1.5 years, and already feels like a real boutique stay. The architecture is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and full of design details, and the whole place feels serene. It never felt crowded or noisy. Thanks especially to Joss for making our visit unique.
