I nearly skipped this place after reading the negative reviews from what I called the "snobby princesses," but the stay was amazing. The rustic, bohemian style is part of the experience and made it feel a bit like Bali. It was also extremely clean, with daily cleaning, hot water, and private bathrooms. The prices were the best I found in this neighborhood. It's right on the beach, within walking distance of the main attractions in the Tulum beach area, and guests get free private parking. I could wake up and walk straight onto the beach. The distance from the clubs was great too. I wouldn't stay any closer to the north side, because the noise from the clubs and bars is unbearable. Rooms 12 and 11 are the ones I'd recommend. The gardens and meditating buddha are stunning. Cheers.

The staff were polite, helpful, and very trustworthy, and my room was cleaned daily. Mine was about 20 metres from the sea, with an incredible view and an excellent shower room. The resort has its own beach area and plenty of places to sit. It's a great spot for an authentic Mexican retreat. There's a 24/7 deli three minutes away on foot, plus other shops. Would I return? Absolutely.

A small, intimate hotel right on the beach. My basic room had a fridge, coffee pot, and cement floors and walls, but the balcony looked out over the beach and the view was lovely.

We loved our stay and will definitely come back. It's an affordable, peaceful, secure place with a beautifully rustic feel that captures old Tulum. The rooms are cozy, nicely decorated, and each has a balcony. The hotel pets are adorable, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. There isn't food on site, but there are lots of delicious places to eat nearby. This is a basic place, so check ahead if you need something specific like a fridge. Electricity can also be limited in this part of Tulum. If you're after luxury, it probably isn't for you. But for a laid-back, charming stay with the original Tulum feel, it's a little slice of paradise without spending a fortune.

The manager and hostess were excellent and so helpful. If you want a clean, quiet place to rest in a great location, this hotel is one of Tulum's best kept secrets.
