Nicholas really looked after me during hurricane Beryl. He arranged a safe evacuation to a downtown hotel and made it easy, then stayed in touch afterward to check I had what I needed, even while I was away from Sunset. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the rooftop was incredible at sunset. You also get free access to the beach club across the street, just a short walk away, where you can hang out or get to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants nearby on foot. The property is quiet, as others have said, since it’s at the end of the beach zone. I’d definitely stay here again.

A few steps from the beach, with lots of delicious restaurants close by, the location made our stay easy. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The rooftop view is amazing, especially at sunset, which you really should catch while you’re there. We had a memorable vacation at Sunset Tulum. It’s my top choice for staying in Tulum, and I strongly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The location is a real plus, at the quiet end of Tulum Beach road, and the jungle sunset view is lovely. But the room was a letdown. We came for one night with my girlfriend, and the bathroom, shower, bed and curtains in our first-floor room all had stains. The pool was dirty when we arrived, and the place needed a much deeper clean. My first stay last year was a lot cleaner. I hope they improve, because the location is great.

Dante was attentive and helped us with whatever we needed. The room was spacious and well equipped, and the jungle views all around the property have a special feel. We really liked cooking dinner in the rooftop kitchen and chatting as the sun went down. We didn’t use the pool, since the beach is only a five-minute walk away. The rooftop view is beautiful. If we return to Tulum, we’ll definitely come back to Sunset Tulum.

The host was so kind and attentive. I loved the minimal, bohemian feel and the rooftop, where the stars looked mesmerizing. There’s a shared kitchen up there and a pool, too. Cute shops and beach clubs are an easy walk away, and Loco right outside is worth trying. Just know this area isn’t very kid friendly. Highly recommend.
