The construction right in front of the bedroom was the worst part, starting at 8am and going until 6pm. Lockey didn't seem to care about my experience and just said there was nothing they could do. After checkout I asked if I could leave my bags somewhere for an hour, and they said there was nowhere to store them without even trying to find a solution. The apartment looks good, but isn't functional. Ants were everywhere, including the bed, kitchen and bathroom. The sheets had stains, everything felt dirty, and the pool was shady and dirty all day. The blanket was just a thin, itchy sheet. We had three power outages in four days, hot water for at most eight minutes a day, a broken dishwasher, and WiFi that barely worked. I never write bad reviews, but I feel I have to warn people: this was the worst stay of my life. I gave it another star for the design, but otherwise it was a one-star experience. There are many beautiful apartments in Tulum at a reasonable price. This one isn't worth it.
