There's a path straight to the cenote, a magical spot for swimming, yoga, meditation, kayaking, or just taking in the mangrove view from the upper platform. Along the paths there are little artistic touches, plus a gorgeous yoga Shala. The small cafe serves strong coffee and a delicious, well-priced breakfast. We met two of the three sisters who own the business, and they were both kind and easygoing. All the staff made it feel like a home away from home. The whole stay felt peaceful and restorative. You're in the forest and get to see the real ecosystem and all kinds of wildlife, but everything is so well cared for that you still feel safe. At the end of south Tulum, it gets you out of the hustle while keeping everything within walking distance. There's a lot of walking if you want to explore, so I'd rent a bike from Yaxchen and head farther south into the park for a day trip. Bring water and snacks. Muchas Gracias💖 Mi corazón está en paz.

Pictures really don't do this place justice. The host was lovely, breakfast was fantastic, and entry to the cenote on site was free. Best place we stayed in Mexico 🫶
A peaceful, spiritual stay surrounded by nature. It's right by a Cenote and only a short walk from the beach. A beautiful experience.
For a refreshing swim, I highly recommend this place. We paid 100 pesos per person for a day visit and had the Cenote to ourselves for the first hour or so. Even after other people arrived, it never felt crowded. Larissa, the owner, came over and shared a lot about the history of her family-owned property and business. She was so welcoming. One of the best Cenote experiences in the area if you want somewhere quieter and more relaxing.
The cabin at Yaxchen was lovely and quiet. There was a fan and a mosquito net around the bed, and it stayed cool enough for me to sleep really well. You can use Cenote Encantado to swim and kayak as much as you like, with no extra charge. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it's easy to enjoy early nights and unlimited swims in the natural jungle cenote. Great for washing off the beach sand and the sweat from the humid weather. When I come back, this will be my base for beach days and relaxing around Tulum. Muchas gracias Larissa x
