Hotel Verdi & Suites

The room itself was very nice, but the stay was a mess. There was just one towel, no hot water, and the air conditioner was incredibly loud. The whole hotel was dark, with lights only in occupied rooms and no lighting in the hallways. When I called the receptionist because my room had no electricity, she acted surprised, as if she didn’t know what was happening. She came up and reset the breakers, but then the TV wouldn’t work, and she asked again what I meant by it not turning on. The service was terrible. 😪😡

The manager’s attitude was the worst part. We’d told her about the issue, but when we asked why guests weren’t warned about things being out of order, she said we hadn’t told her we planned to use the whirlpool. The TV didn’t work either, and she only said she’d already reported it. Nothing was resolved, and they closed the room without fixing anything. The bridal suite itself is beautiful, with a lobby area inside and huge closets. But the whirlpool wasn’t working and had dead bugs in it, so we cleaned it ourselves. The manager was far from friendly.

The rooms have nothing working, not the TV, phone, or Wi-Fi. I pay for those services, so I asked to switch rooms. They offered a suite instead, but at a different price, and gave no actual solution. Terrible service. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The shampoo and conditioner bottles in the bathroom have no labels, so you have to test them to figure out which is which. When we got to the room, the power was off, and I had to let staff know so they could flip the switch and get the air conditioning going. They also ask for a $300 cash deposit on top of the room price. You do get it back, but it’s a hassle.
