There’s a parking lot, which was a real plus for us. We could walk downtown easily, and on our second day we went on foot to Uruapan National Park. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the water is warm with strong pressure. There’s no TV, but I didn’t miss having one. It really felt like a home away from home.

The manager was very helpful, and the room had plenty of space. The bed was clean and comfortable, so I slept really well. It’s also right in the city center.

I liked the welcoming feel of the hostel and its pleasant surroundings, but my stay also had some serious problems. On the second night I woke up with bites, checked the bed, and saw what I visually confirmed were bed bugs. I photographed them and sent the evidence to the owner. He was kind and refunded me, and I appreciate that response, but guests expect a clean, fumigated place. I’d seen an earlier review mentioning the same issue; the owner had replied that they had fumigated and that it was moths. This left me itchy and anxious, and I had unexpected costs because I had to find somewhere else to stay. I also asked for ironing service. The man who helped was friendly, but he ironed my pants badly and left them shiny and wrinkled. I had to pay for the service again elsewhere. I’m writing this in the hope these issues are addressed, not to cause harm. The place has potential, but these details really affect the guest experience.

The towels, pillows, and blankets were spotless and smelled fresh, and the rooms were just as clean. Everything felt well cared for, with the basics you need for a good night's sleep. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.
