Hotel Casa Hipil

The bed was amazingly huge and comfortable, though the room itself was pretty small. We could have used more space to open our luggage and a safe big enough for an iPad. With those things, and given the fair price, this might have been a five-star stay. As it was, four stars feels right. The hotel was solid, clean, and had nice staff. Breakfast is served on the sun deck at the partner hotel across the street. The coffee was just okay, but the hot cakes were delicious.

A lovely little boutique hotel, with a beautiful garden and pool. Everyone was super friendly. Our room was nice, and the bathroom was especially luxurious.

The suite worked perfectly for our family of four, so we were glad we upgraded from the double family room when we arrived. The hotel is small and cosy, very clean, and has a lush garden with a cool, refreshing plunge pool. There’s a great kitchen if you want to cook for yourself, and our rate included breakfast at a wonderful cafe just a few steps down the street. The staff were welcoming and lovely. We ended up adding another night because we liked Valladolid and the hotel so much. Such a great find in a magical town.

Room no.1 really let the stay down. There was no window, and it was right by reception, so we heard noise late in the evening and again early in the morning. The hotel is cosy, the reception staff are friendly, and the location is very good, close to the city Center. Still, that room left us with a low level of satisfaction.
