Quinta Marciala Hotel Boutique

We stayed nearly a week while visiting Valladolid. It’s a comfortable local hotel with a convenient location and reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with excellent tips and directions for a first-time visitor. English skills varied, with the younger women speaking it better. A little Spanish goes a long way. Water pressure and temperature can be irregular, though that may not be under the hotel’s control.

We were a bit worried after reading the reviews because we’d also booked through an online platform, but everything went smoothly and the charge was exactly as stated. The room was great, with super comfortable beds, a good shower, and even a little fridge. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I’d stay again and totally recommend it.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with a genuine rustic feel. You can see how it was converted from an hacienda-style home. It’s three blocks from the large convent and half a mile from the town square.
