I haven’t stayed here yet, but when bad weather canceled my flight, I had to cancel my one-night booking. They were incredibly kind and waived the cancellation fee. That says a lot about the people who run the place. If I get another chance to visit, I’ll definitely book here. Thank you for being so kind!

I had the terrace/private room, and it was just right. The bed was comfortable, the water was hot, and the rooftop views were great. Alfonso, the owner, is super nice and was always around when I needed help. Definitely recommend this hostel!

Right in the center of Valle de Bravo, Hostal el Alebrije has a lovely terrace and some activities. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed meeting Alfonso. Muchas gracias por todo, y hasta luego !

I stayed at Alebrije Hostel for two nights and felt right at home. Alfonso deserves a special shout-out for going above and beyond to make the experience so lovely. 🌞❤️🔥

The breakfast was wonderful and changed each day, and the staff were amazing and helpful. Don guy was both entertaining and helpful. It was clean, with hot showers, and the location is great, though it’s hard to find and could use an entrance sign. I’d definitely recommend it and will return.
