The bathroom had mold and smelled like sewage. There were calcium stains on the shower head, torn curtains, dust, and stains all over the room. Only one of the six worked. There was even a booger on the wall. I’ve stayed in better motels than this hotel.

The beach is just a block away, so the small pool didn’t matter much to me. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and the staff are friendly. There’s no phone in the room, and they didn’t leave enough towels, though we could get more on request. I’d give it five stars if the in-room safe worked. Mine was out of service. Still, it’s a good place to stay.

Six of us fit in one suite, and the rates were decent. We paid $2600 pesos for 3 days 2 nights. The hotel is only 4 floors, with the pool on the 4th floor. We had no hot water, and even though I left a “do not disturb” sign on the door, the maid service came in. When I got back, they were watching TV in our room and pretending to clean.

It’s handy for getting around the city, with a sea view, air conditioning, a little pool on the top floor, and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and clean. The rooms echo a bit and storage space is limited, but it’s still a great place to stay.

I’m thinking about coming back to this same hotel next year. It’s a very good place.
