The hotel was pleasant and clean, and the staff were very helpful. Still, the reservation details need better handling when a booking comes through another app. I was put in a much smaller room than the one I’d paid for. Best Day had told me breakfast came with my reservation, but the hotel said it was only a continental breakfast. We also had to ask to learn basic things like the opening hours and how to get in at night, since there’s no reception desk. That information should be given when guests arrive.

We’d be happy to come back. The hotel has a traditional feel but includes things like TV and hot water, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable; the night was chilly, though the warm blankets kept us cozy. Breakfast tasted good, just wasn’t very generous. We had to ask before getting practical details about taxis, food delivery, the TV, and the Wi-Fi password, and only got that information on the night we stayed. The walk back from the center also takes you along some rather dark streets at night. And the gift offered for leaving a good Google Maps review really isn’t needed.

The breakfasts were delicious, and the room was spotless. We had a very comfortable stay, though the room felt a little cold. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the center, so keep that distance in mind.

Breakfast was generously served, and the service was very good. The location worked well for us, close to both the center and the viewpoint. The rooms were very clean and had satellite TV and Wi-Fi. I’d come back.
