Hotel Xic Xanac

The location is good, but the stay wasn’t. The bed was dirty, and I found a used sock under the sheets. I also took one of their UTV rides, but the helmets were wet with other people’s sweat and smelled so bad I almost threw up. The manager refused to come out and speak with me. They only offered me a free breakfast. There’s a lot that needs work.

The temascal was the highlight for me, and there are plenty of other things available too, like massages, a jacuzzi, and tours. We came in May and had excellent weather. The place was delightful in most other ways, and the food tasted quite good, though kitchen service was slow. The weekend bar experience was a letdown, which is why I’m taking off a star. Recommended for a relaxing, pleasant stay!

The restaurant food was amazing and full of flavor, helped by the fact that most ingredients come straight from the large garden beside the kitchen. It felt fresh, too. We were a group of eight, including kids, and everyone could get what they wanted, with gluten free meals and different kids’ specials. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The lush grounds have room to wander among old trees and gardens, or just stretch out in a hammock. My family and I had a perfect time at this tranquil oasis, and we’ll be back next year.

A peaceful, quiet place to relax, and the employees are very kind. It’s near a gas station and a convenience store. It’s beautiful and works well for couples who want a stress free break. Kids can stay here, but I wouldn’t recommend it for them since they may get bored.
