The breakfast staff were friendly and gave good service. There was bread and fruit, though no hot food. The room was a reasonable size and the location was nice, but it had a musty smell when I walked in. Water from the tap came out in a small trickle.

The rooms feel dated and are very small. This hotel really needs a serious update.

There wasn't a kettle or any coffee sachets, and the room came without slippers, a wardrobe, or even a dental kit. I've never seen rooms this small at another Marriott. I can't tell whether that's typical for Mexico or Marriott hotels in general, but to me this one felt like a two-star hotel.

The smell was bad, and carpet was coming loose in both the hallways and rooms. I won't stay here again.

The hotel itself was attractive and well maintained, but the extra bed we requested was awful. It was a sofa that converted into a bed, and all I could feel were hard springs. They'd only put on a mattress cover and a very rough blanket, without a full set of sheets.
